The People Behind Callidus Works

Joost van Gils is an experienced technology leader with a strong foundation in software development. As co-founder of ISProjects (the predecessor of ISP-Next), he helped shape large-scale IT solutions for many years. In his role as CTO, he combined technical expertise with leading multiple development teams, with quality and scalability as key priorities. After the sale of ISProjects, Joost largely shifted his focus to the AI domain.
Within Callidus Works, he is responsible for the development of the Callidus products: from concept and architecture to delivery, with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and practical applicability. In addition, he advises (software) companies one day per week through Mojava BV on the strategic use of AI.

Mathieu Siemons is a hands-on organizational consultant and interim manager with more than 35 years of experience in various roles within manufacturing. From Operations Manager to organizational consultant, he connects strategic and operational challenges to practical solutions. Mathieu stands out through his combination of business expertise, hands-on shop-floor experience, and focus on collaboration and people-centered improvement.
Within Callidus, he is responsible for commercial activities, consultancy, and internal operations. Mathieu is the driving force behind Noctuam, where he helps manufacturing organizations structurally improve their processes and collaboration based on Operational Excellence, particularly through the QRM method (Quick Response Manufacturing). He supports leadership teams with strategy, organizational change, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
